BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC – WORKSHOP/PERFORMANCE
Grounded in the ensemble’s practical experience, this workshop explores how diverse Colombian and Latin American folk rhythms have been incorporated into its repertoire and transformed through the language of salsa. Particular attention is given to percussion as the structural backbone of the arrangement, shaping groove, musical intention, and much of the ensemble’s distinctive sonic identity.
